That's a terrible idea and again, more AFL manipulation.

I don't know. Maybe it's just me.

Just the AFL trying to hold our attention for as long as they can now that the footy season has finished.
I agree, it is painful to see what a production is made out of trade period and the draft, just to keep footy in the headlines all the way to Christmas, if possible.
It's like they're scared that we'll get so engrossed in the spring racing and the cricket season that we'll all forget to start watching footy again next season.
