I reckon it was but it comes down to whether we rate a potential draft prospect as more important than Daniher.

Wouldn't shock me at all if we didn't
In that case it wouldn't be a case of Daniher being more important than pick 5 because it's pick 5 plus other picks. If it was picks 5&9 then is Daniher going to more value to us than those two players selected in the draft? Extremely doubtful.

It's laughable that the Bombers think they are a flag chance next season or even a couple of years after that. Shit stain of a club who should have been booted out of the league after the drug scandal

I don't see it. Reckon we are just holding out for 9. Trade radio haven't a clue - total guesses.
I think we've just told Paps if they pay up you can go, if they don't, you can't.
I guess what I am thinking is if they can't get Daniher they see Papley as more benifical than Pick 9. Not that there is a comparison to be had between the 2 as players.

Well I cannot see anything wrong with an AFL mediator helping us out.

I mean when has the AFL ever done anything detrimental to the club or shown nothing but good will and intentions towards us?

What could possibly go wrong?

Haha one of them just speculated that an AFL mediator might get involved with 30 mins to go if the deadlock isn’t broken. WTF. Like that would be appropriate.

At any point in time a club can ask for discussions to be held with all parties with the AFL mediator.

Has happened often over the years many times.

Are bomber willing to put up with the intense public scrutiny of the will he wont be for a player they havnt had for 2 years when its nearly guaranteed they are gonna get lesser deal next year
