What are our chances of getting mead, burgoyne and pickett?
I keep thinking that about the W Eagles ... yet they keep picking up these small Aboriginal forwards .... and nailing it.Mead yes with our 3rd pick.
Burgoyne as a rookie.
Pickett likely to be gone by our pick in the 60s AND we have enough small forwards on our list already.

Its how we use (misuse) them is Ports issue!

The way we deliver the ball to our forward line, Ryan would have been almost perfect for us. Good at ground level, can do the tricky dicky stuff and when he is forced to play on guys 20-25 cms taller than him, ala Jake Neade and Sam Gray at FF, he can jump on top of their head and take a big grab.Ryan and Rioli were well known state league players with question marks surrounding off field/professionalism. WCE took a punt and it paid off, but we haven't had small forwards of that quality on our list for some time.
IIRC we were interested in Ryan but didn't have a pick until 47 in his draft because we traded out of 2017 to get all those picks in 2016.
They sit at the feet of 2 KPF's. We're lucky to have any small forwards having 1 KPF within 80 metres of goal at any time.I keep thinking that about the W Eagles ... yet they keep picking up these small Aboriginal forwards .... and nailing it.

Kysaiah Pickett .. not father son, but nephew of Byron Pickett. Looks lively and good mover & quick.
Don't worry we can trade the 2019-2022 crop to get them.Better start trading future picks for the 6 players in the 2025 draft.
Oh yes, my mistake lolGeez, he looks & runs like his d̶a̶d̶ uncle!
Everyone is focusing on Mead ... Pickett looks like he is going to become a ripper though! Has his uncles genes!Oh yes, my mistake lol
We need to draft him i reckon. Looks like a really handy player to me.
Not sure you can say "paid off" when it comes to RioliRyan and Rioli were well known state league players with question marks surrounding off field/professionalism. WCE took a punt and it paid off, but we haven't had small forwards of that quality on our list for some time.

If we had drafted/recruited properly the last 7 or 8 years we could have afforded to take a punt on him. Just another opportunity cost from our bizarre list managementHes a highlights player at the moment. The meat and potatoes arent there
Kysaiah has been watching Uncle Byron’s highlights reel. Get him!Geez, he looks & runs like his d̶a̶d̶ uncle!
If we could get him at 29 then use our later picks to nab mead would be a great outcome.Kysaiah has been watching Uncle Byron’s highlights reel. Get him!
