My analysis in terms where we play, and expected win/losses.
Seams an expected fixture for a prelim finalist.

HOME : GC, STK, BRIS, NTH, WCE, MELB, WB, GWS, ADEL (8/9)
MCG : HAW, ESS, RICH, HAW, COLL (2/5)
MVL : CARL, STK (2/2)
INTERSTATE: BRIS, WCE, FREO, GWS, PORT, SYD (3/3)

15-7 and 4th place is my early prediction.

Play twice : GWS, WC, BRIS, HAW, STK

Good to see our request for 11 home games was promptly shat on by the AFL.
Did you expect anything else? Geelong can protest as much as they like but I can't see us getting any more that 9 KP games anytime soon. I can't see us getting less that 9 either.

2019 Games:
Giants Stadium: 1 (GWS)
GMHBA: 9 (Gold Coast, St Kilda, Brisbane, North, WCE, Melbourne, Footscray, GWS, Adelaide)
Optus Stadium: 2 (WCE, Freo)
MCG: 5 (Hawks x2 (1x H, 1xA), Essendon (H), Richmond (A), Collingwood (A),
SCG: 1 (Sydney)
Adelaide Oval: 1 (Port)
Marvel Stadium: 2 (Carlton (A), St Kilda (A))
Gabba: 1 (Brisbane)

Double Games: GWS, St Kilda, WCE, Hawthorn + Brisbane

I am happy with that.

SHITE Draw...
Geelong's Home stadium is GMHBA Stadium.
Not or never was or never will be the MCG.
Weak as PIZZ Colin Carter. So Gilligan the Goofball has done a number on us again.
GFC have a backbone of a twig... cant wait for the dribble on why... how... blah... blah... from both these twats.
Disappointed CAT.

I reckon the club is just going through the motions with the whole "we want 11 home games at KP" thing. They know the AFL won't do it, and I bet there'll be some reaction from Brian Cook today along the lines of "well, we're disappointed but we'll keep pushing for it". Rinse and repeat this time next year.

Teams we play twice:

Hawthorn
WCE
GWS
Brisbane
Saints

9 home games in Geelong, the AFL will never give us all 11 games at Kardinia park.

6 friday night games is good.

The opening five matches maybe not as hard as last year, with GCS & the saints, but the suns often start the season well and taper off, and who knows what the Saints will be like with a new coach and such a large list turnover.
