Richmond have won as much finals in the last 3 years as St Kilda have in the last 20, Richmond have won more flags in the last 3 years than St Kilda have won in their entire history, Richmond are a real club, St Kilda are a joke of a club
CONGRATS ON BEING CORRUPT AND WINNING A RIGGED GAME OH WOW YOURE AMAZING!!!
saints are a REAL club tigers are a corrupt piece of s**t club

1980s 1990s 2000s
2010 upto 2017

RICHMOND WERE s**t WORST CLUB IN AUSTRALIA

Won a flag in 1980, which would make us a far better side than any team that didn’t win one like the errr Saints. But that would be nearly any decade wouldn’t it? As you’ve only won one ******* flag in 140+ years while bagging a quarter century of spoons. Worst sports club in the world are the old Saints.

Which compared to St Kilda has only been a short time, St Kilda has won only the one flag in their entire history of almost 150 years and that one and only flag was also a fluked win by a point, and in the same St Kilda have "won" 27 wooden spoons double the next worst, 1983 to 2016 would count as a golden era for St Kilda

St Kilda "won" 5 wooden spoons during the 1980s including 4 in a row from 1983 to 1986 how utterly pathetic

1980s and 2010s??
huh

Compare the two:

1980s
Richmond: 1 flag, 2 Grand Finals, 2 finals series, 45.3% W/L ratio
Geelong: 0 flags, 1 Grand Final, 3 finals series, 51.5% W/L ratio

Head to head: 9-4 Geelong
Head to head in finals: 1-0 Richmond

Yeah Richmond wins that battle.

2010s
Richmond: 2 flags, 2 grand finals, 6 finals series, 56.3% W/L ratio
Geelong: 1 flag, 1 grand final, 9 finals series, 69.5% W/L ratio

Head to head: 13-7 Geelong
Head to head in finals: 2-0 Richmond

Richmond win again

It seems both decades Geelong had a bit more success during the home and away seasons, but got beat on the Grand Final and flag tally.

The most interesting stat between Richmond/Geelong

Geelong @ Punt rd - 15 wins, 2 draws, 36 loss
Richmond @ Kardinia. 15 wins 36 loss

Erm, Baz. It's 2-0 Richmond in finals in the 2010s, making it 9-2 overall. Geelong sure does well in home and away games thanks to their ridiculous home ground advantage, but on neutral soil in September, we know who's boss.
