get ya hand off it. Richmond were a joke in the 80s.
2010s geelong had more wins, finals by a long margin. flags arent everything

Tigers are a s**t club. laughing stock for 35 years. and you own the afl and live at the g. worst club in australia.

geelong played richmond 12 times in the 2010s

Cats won 9 of em. yet you think richmond were better. laughable. Dont care about ya new found flags at home against weak interstate teams with all afl corrupt support YOU SUK. TIGER ARE CRAP always have been always will be.

Trust a saint to ignore flags lol

It still amazes me how little such an exaggerated bit of stagging wasn't commented on by the media, yet joe public spotted it straight away.
Lost a lot of respect for Dangerfield after that, especially when he tried to glorify it and rub it in Martin's face.
Yeah absolutely. Richo actually opened the door on the incident but nobody wanted to make a comment...

It must be so annoying to hear your favourite son rooboy dish out such high praise for the Tigers.
Only the saltiest of the salty can't acknowledge Richmond as a very good team and club these days.

Martins had a good last 3 years. Before 2017 he was the 10-15th best player in the comp. Certainly now top 5. But he slowed down in 2018 and early 2019.

Danger and others (Pendlebury/Fyfe/Selwood) have been doing it twice as long. Martin belongs somewhere between those players and players like Cripps, Oliver who have also had 2 good seasons or finals series.

Martin missed out on the NAB rising star due to suspension and was drawing Leigh Matthews comparisons in his 2nd season (while polling 12 brownlow votes). Suggestions that he was a late bloomer is fake news.

He was always good (very good ranking at 10th-15th). But the others have been top 5 for as long as I can remember and played at that level for that long. He's top 5 now obviously but for how long? I think he may drop back a notch again but hope he maintains his form for years to come

The Darren Millane comparison was a classic :thumbsu:

Pendlebury and Selwood haven’t been “top 5” for a long time. They had a couple of years where they flirted with it, but like Martin, they’ve been in that 10-15 bracket for most of their careers

No way! It may feel that way now but Selwood was "top 5" from 2007-16 and Pendlebury similar.

This is also reflected when you see both players made the AA team each 6 times over that period. Dusty didn't receive his first AA until 2016. Martin has another 5 years to go playing at this level before he's done it for as long.

He's the new "it" player now but he's not better than Danger (or Fyfe)

St Kilda 2009 were a soft overrated mentally weak side that had to play most of their games under a roof unlike a real club like Richmond who plays out in the conditions, Richmond 2017-2019 would flog St Kilda 2009
LOL dream on. Tigers cant even finish top. need to play home games against blown up interstate teams to win flags.

Umm no, result would’ve been one way to the tigers.
Saint would never keep up for 4 quarters.
Definitely one way to the Tigers. Saints not only would never keep up for 4 quarters but 10 years worth of rule changes - just imagine all the free kicks they would give away. ;)

Anyway .......... Dustin Martin is better than Dangerfield ..........
