The next wave of payments start next week. And then I think the last is in December for the easy pay option spread over 10 months. I think the club adds to the tally once the first payment is successfully made. I wonder if they will do another 30,000 by December 30 thing.
If the club is aiming to sighn 50,000 plus members for 2020 hopefully we have abit more then 30,000 by the 30th of December

Just under 30,000 at December 29 2017, 42,000 members in April 2018 and 46,000 in 2018 all up. A good solid start to the first 7 games in Melbourne and 50,000 is doable.

I just relized the PDF that came with the email that tells you your member pack is on the way has a temporary Ecard:

I get Tim Membrey on the front.

Was hoping it would've been more than that.

The upside I guess is we're 1/2 way to the 50K.
is that good?

just editing my own post. last year near the end of december we were approx 28,000 members.
The next big jump will be tomorrow as the 2nd Easy Pay installment is due.

It's Gresh this year for mine, glad to have someone on it that I expect is likely to play the whole season,
3000 members plus in the next six weeks would seems a decent chance are all the easy pay accounted for? (answered above)

but I do wonder after the positive draft period if the club are happy with that current number?

I'm not as confident on numbers as others. I know a few people who aren't re-signing this year. Our friend has a brother who's been a stalwart supporter and he's been paying for his nephews, sister, parents and his own 4 person family with seated tickets on level 2 for ages. He reckon's he's given up on the club. Another family I know is threatening to not renew as well. I'm having to go down to 2 memberships from 4 because my wife is doing a placement year and thesis so won't be working. I'm not handing over a donation when no-one goes any more. Another guy who does some work for me is threatening to give up as well. I must know all the negative people.

I think some will jump back on if we can start well.

just renewed.

i got my old seat.
so, my mum who had her accident a couple of years ago, we moved seats to make it easier for her to get to her seat. She passed away in May. i rang to renew my seat, and they were able to offer me back mmy mum's old seat from a couple of years ago. h i like that.!!!!

also joined up with the womens team.

Says Saint Watto:

gringo.....your mounting a very strong case there.

If I was a DA(not a DH)....you'd be in a spot of bother !!!!

Happy to report everyone I know are still on borad for next season....in fact some are upgrading their seat memberships.....going from level 1 to level 2.

Good on them I say.

Wow. Would have thought we'd be ahead of last year with the positive changes on and off field over rhe off season.

I know people who are re signing. I know people who aren’t. I doubt that’s even slightly close to an indicator of numbers. It will obviously increase with a new coach and plenty of new players and as usual the afl have probably changed the system to what counts as a member which they seem to do most years. Not a coincidence that total memberships go up every year. We should be aiming for a minimum of 50 k next season

Hi All,

Signed up again and also got my Eagles supporting wife on board. Round 1 plane tickets booked in so buzzing to see the start of a new era hopefully.

One question I'm hoping someone can help me with, I am heading to Melbourne for work on the 2nd December and have half a day up my sleeve, would like to head to RSEA park but is there much to do or see there or is it closed off from the public? At wort I'm guessing I could visit the St Kilda merchandise store but is there anymore to do, like tours, watch training, etc?

Thanks in advance.
