So because the Opels are about to win their 6th race in a row does that mean the Ford teams can ask for an adjustment ??

Whincup or Van Gisbergen wins = parity
McLaughlin wins = easily the best driver out there... Riiiiiiight

Hopefully Supercars don’t screw up and give a manufacturer a clear advantage next season so we actually have a close championship.

I understand cutting the race short if there is a major delay (e.g track repairs or crazy weather), but cutting it short after just one SC for a minor accident is ridiculous. When FOX have their Trackside show straight after the race that goes for an hour, that’s an hour that could be used for race time. Plus, no one cares about half of the stuff that happens pre race, they could cut majority of that.

Does that mean all races get cut short next year if cars aren't doing qualifying times during the full race distance. Geez there was only a short safety car period in this race and we still couldn't get the laps in.
I hope not... timed certainty is a stupid thing, imho.

Gee your humour radar is a bit out even for you.

He IS easily the best driver out there though, I agree.

Think back to my comments on this day 2 years ago about Scotty.
I said we'd learn the calibre of the bloke in how he responds to the greatest heartbreak in supercars championship history

2 titles later.......

You think so?

I'm a bit "meh" about it.

I'm still not clear about the pit lane penalty he got.
It's heartbreaking in that he had it sewn up and lost the unlosable on the last lap.

But he caused most of the pain himself that day.

All 4 Tickford cars in the top 10 too.

Penrite looked a sniff early season but as soon as the words were uttered they seemed to sag overall.

He won't get many plaudits but Nick Percat deserves a shout-out for finishing 8th.

Time for WAU to pony the * up next year.

God knows what RBHRT did in the pre-season but it took them half a season to get on top of the spring bullshit , but once they did it was back in business but the horse ( literally ) had bolted.

Nissan.......Turned out being a waste of time , effort and money for all involved.

Gutted to see GRM leave the main game , the category needs it's characters badly.

Team 18 - next

Team Sydney - ??

Todd Hazelwood was fast early on this year but they were obviously limited in developing the car. Got a lot of time for him.

Future stars - ADP , Hazelwood , Tom Randle , Will Brown , Bryce Fulwood , Matt Chada

The questions next year will be......

How does Chaz go at WAU ??

Can RBHRT hit back early ??

Can Waters elevate to the top level ??

And who replaces Scotty at DJRP in 2021 ??

Now that you've brought it up, 06 is the only time I've thought there was a genuine last round title showdown. There's still something NQR to me about 17.
06 was a knife-edge whereas 17 came out of nowhere.

ADP would be a very good get, it's a big year for him. If he starts well he could quite easily find himself in that seat.

I'd like to see Hazelwood in a good car, and it'll be interesting to see how JLB goes at Tickford.
