0 draftees line up round 1 for us.
Look forward to getting a look at them in the Swans system in the preseason.
Stephens upgrade on Florent
Gould upgrade on Thurlow and COR
The other two need a bit more work I think. Match Committe will have plenty to think about if players stay healthy.

The weird thing is every year we create a best 22 and it is really tough to do so, with a heap of players that probably should be in the team missing out and we all get excited by our amazing depth.

Then come round 12, a lot of us are wondering who we can bring into the team as our team is performing badly and we don't have anyone to replace the worst offenders.

Every year we're performing badly by round 12?

It isn't weird at all, everyone is a good option when they don't need to actually play

I'm a like for like replacement of Franklin, right up until I set foot on the field.

yep, its all so exciting at the moment.. we definitely make the finals next year ?????
In all seriousness, I do reckon our depth has improved a lot this draft / trade period
- The 4 retirees didn't play last year (only a handful of games), and were replaced by three in the trade period who can play next year. +3
- All the young crew are a year older and more able to contribute as at least a depth / fringe player. + a few
- drafted Dylan Stephens and Will Gould who could if needed play senior footy next year. +2
- Naismith, Ling, Mailbaum are back from entire season injuries. +3
- nearly all (if not all) the players are on track to be in full training in January
So there's an extra 10 or so players to add to our depth.

I count 37 players on our senior list which includes 4 x draftees & 3 x trades. We need between 38 and 40.
Anyone have an idea of any rookie upgrades?
Anyone know of any Rookie spots left for the academy kids or all those guys training with the Swan at the moment??
