Only 1 season in, but the Red Bull Honda experiment seems to have paid off.
Big test will be 2021
If Verstappen doesn't win, it'll mean RB have won less races than they did last season. They need to pick up 39pts tonight to beat their score from last season. 2 poles in each season.

That Honda engine seems like its got serious power and drive-ability now. Honda have come on leaps and bounds this year.

As much as I'd love to see Fernando return, I don't want him messing up the Sainz/Norris combo at McLaren.
One of them are just warming the seat if he wants to come back.
That's why it was the 4th best engine at Monza.

Didn't you watch Monza? Ricciardo a clear 4th. With Hulkenberg's 5th, it was their most successful race. Distinctly ahead of any Honda car.
Also, more powerful "in some places" doesn't meant more powerful.
Well, that was that. Not really a memorable season for mine. We got 22 rounds of it next year, before the rules change for 2021.

If there are less than 10 finishers, the points still go 25-18-15 etc right?
I have some weird notion that if there's, say 8 finishers, it would go 15-12-10-8-6-4-2-1. 6 finishers would go 10-8-6-4-2-1

Correct.
The only time the points totals are adjusted is if a race has to be abandoned before 75% of the planned distance has been completed, then all points are halved, so it becomes 12.5, 9, 7.5, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0.5.

To be fair they had a race winner in the other seat last year.
There was no stability in the second seat in 2019.

Season over. But one thing stands out.
The competition needs to up their game in 2020 if they want to make the season exciting for us.
With the big changes not coming until 2021, will the money be spent to make 2020 a season to remember?
