James Frawley (2015) - 2014 Unrestricted Free Agent

In this time frame Hawthorn saw Lance Franklin, Campbell Brown, Clinton Young, Tom Murphy, Xavier Ellis all leave under free agency.

Seems the "Hawthorn threepeat relied on free agency" myth has been busted.
Close thread.

Pick 13 not elite end? :$
The answer is clearly the last pick before Hawthorns.

If Hawthorn has pick 11 then the top end is 10.

If Downie gets bid on at 3 next year then the elite end is top 2.

If Downie goes first then clearly the draft lacks elite talent.

I refer you to my old post.

Sorry. The elite section ended at 12.

Enjoy. 😎

I note the score line where Carlton clearly have hawks measure until the violent bump occurs.

Mmmmm
Poor wittle marc wasn’t expecting contact.

Honesty and essendon
He’s created a spreadsheet that proves it.

Actually, it’s a photo of a copy of a spreadsheet.

I think the moderators should punish that chelseacarlton fool, but then I realised he goes for Carlton. That’s punishment enough.
Derpy derp derp derrrrrrp.... erp.

You bastardos, I make eat very hot sauce one day, hands free.
Yeh, it was a good hit, raised his elbow slightly but not untoward I spose.
I await the day of my hot sauce hands free day, my vengeance will be complete.
That derpy guy though, hmmn, he’s all yours friend!👍

I know plenty have had their say on this, but doesn't this refute the thread title? that the elite end of the drafts importance is diminshed?

Yes hawks have taken their luck, but you also need to be a consistenltly well run team.

even in 2001 when they 'got lucky' with the bumper draft, they also traded up, ie finished 4th not 4th last
Haha ya reckon. Yes, plenty of bites. Certainly hit my target audience = Insecure Hawks realising the sheer luck and timing of their arsey little run. :$
