Admitting it is the first step apparently. I'm putting my hand up as well. It pretty much keeps me stimulated throughout my work day plus music in the arvo.
I listen to most of the history ones you've listed plus History of the Crusades and the Bulgarian History pod.
Recently started listening to a Scottish sports writing pod Between The Lines, worth a listen if you like quality sports journalism.
Golazzo and The Totally Football Show are good value if you like soccer, as are The Second Captains (soccer, GAA, rugby etc).

If you get a chance listen to the Martyrmade podcast series called fear and loathing in Journalism. I recommend it to everyone. Probably the most underrated history podcast out there. Stacks up with anything I’ve listened to.

I listen to a couple of sports podcasts but they don’t really grab me.

For years people speculated that he was the origin of the "take acid, think you can fly and jump off a building story". He was possibly murdered to cover up a botched experiment with acid in a French town in the 50s.

There is a book called A Terrible Mistake about it that I've always wanted to read.

Olson was a biochemist and bio warfare specialist who worked at Fort Detrick. The same place that anthrax from the post 9/11 anthrax mail outs is sposed to have come from iirc.

With not much to do yesterday, binge watched "The Boys", an interesting take on the Super Hero genre, took me until episode 5 to realise the dude playing
Homelander is the same guy that played Lucas Hood in the excellent Banshee.

Maybe I'll have to give it another go.

A 100 year old De Niro "stomping" a bloke half his age was about as believable as a 3 dollar note and after I wiped away the tears of laughter I switched it off.

Maybe it’s not for you. I know a few old blokes that would kick the s**t out of blokes half their age, some people just have it in them and some don’t.

100 yr old beating a 50 year old is less believeable to me than a 70 year old putting a 30 year old on his arse. I've seen that happen.
