Well no, because someone else would've won a premiership in between so it wouldn't be back-to-back premierships. You could say they had consecutive finals campaigns that resulted in a flag, though.

The football abilities of Wingard, Scully, Patton and Frost are not any less deserving of wearing a medal around their necks than many of the premiership players that got to wear one this year.

They all definitely have the quality and ability to play an important role in contributing towards success. Remember Hawks culture and mindset is all about team. Since 2016 Clarko/Wright have quickly transitioned and assembled a new team that will challenge again soon. I can understand all the saltiness and envy because it just ain’t fair!
