He doesn't fit the system and never did. Simeone doesn't really use wingers - we play either CMs like Koke & Saul out wide, or we play Angel Correa (who is more of a second striker) there.

He was really only bought because of Griezmann, and obviously didn't work

He's been injured for a fair chunk of the season but has played reasonably well without much luck when he's been fit. Was probably the second best player in our last game but missed out on an assist because Morata didn't finish, and had a few shots saved or just miss. He hasn't played like a 120m player, but he was never going to straight away imo
