I wouldn't have thought so, given there isn't a boutique stadium to play at, and I doubt the City of Casey are going to be paying a couple of million to play a few games there.

I'd say it would be more about the home ground experience, which for mine, is a bit of a moot point, as it doesn't matter what they've got going on, or how they've dressed the place up when the team continues to play the venue so poorly.
I think I responded about the home ground experience only to the extent of endorsing the continued removal of the trumpeter

I think everyone should go to a St Kilda or Norf home game experience before getting too upset with ours.

I refuse to attend St Kilda home games. Its so lame that its infuriating.

Want to try a Gold Coast vs St Kilda game in Townsville?

Unless we start the year well (Fun fact haven’t been 3-1 or 4-0 after the first 4 games since 2005) we’ll be looking at a very large dropoff imo. Won’t be surprised if we barely scrape over 40k.
And West Coast in Perth followed by GWS, so a good start is really quite unlikely too.

On the flip side, if by some miracle we're even 2-0, membership will grow pretty quickly.

2-0 is hard to imagine but yeah membership numbers would rocket. Honestly though we’ll know where we’re at after 2 rounds. It’ll sort us out.

What's the tally of late? i'm keep hearing about these amazing fans signing up to help clubs like Collingwood and Richmond through hardship in the last week, was wondering if our tiny club had a surge?

Not sure if you'd call it a surge, but ...

Tally currently stands at 37,278

Today, March 17th, has the total of 37,278 on the site. When I renewed on March 13th, it said 36,063.

According to previous pages, March 13th 2019 had 39,537 while also seeing the tally tick over 40,000.

March 16th 2018 had 35,485 so at the moment we are ahead of the 2018 total but behind the 2019 total.

Really unfortunate situation for us in particular to be honest, given we would have a solid 10-15k people who were holding to see how the side performs.

After attending only 3 games last year i downgraded to a country membership cause making it to melbourne was just to difficult

Speaking of good news fluff

First time in decades I haven't been a member.
Not because of COVID, but because the team ****ed me last year. I refused to re-sign. Bit of financial luck my way then.

The club stopped calling me around mid Feb?

When they start up again, win some games or piss off.

I felt the same after last season.
