I'd love WBA to choke. got nothing against them as a club per se but they're just another boring yo-yo team.

The irony is i'd see more of them if they stayed second divvy and less of Brentford, Leeds United, Sheffield Wednesday, PNE. never really end up watching much Premier League these days.

Amazing how tight it is in the middle. Stoke seem to be a bit like Hudders in that they started absolutely pitifully and locked straight set to go down, are still shitful, but seem to love an upset – generally when they're away. good for bets in the future I think.

your 'who' comment about some French striker was just so lame. none of us are that clued up about third rate Ligue Un strikers. lke you're on the internet, just google him. it's just another odd, aloof comment. ffs most people in here are decent and support shitful clubs. there's no need to have your hand on a hip giving out sassy calls.

It was a genuine question, I'd never heard of him. I assumed Leeds would be targeting higher profile players.

I looked him up then, he's at RB Leipzig who gross as a club they are, they're a very strong Bundesliga club and he's got a pretty respectable record (12 goals in 40 games) for a 22-year old who isn't their first choice striker. now at Monaco and was previously coming off the bench for PSG. for a January transfer, I'd say a lot of Prem clubs would be happy with that singing. Leeds are seen as chokers in the second tier – I honestly think it's a really really good get. who do you think Leeds are buying!?

He's not at RB Leipzig, he's on loan at a trash Monaco doing nothing.

They were looking at Dwight Gayle for instance, a proven Championship scorer, who would be a far more impressive signing. They aren't in a position to be gambling on an unknown kid struggling in the French league.

You certainly are triggered, your rant indicates as such. There is no sass other than what you're reading into it. Dunno how I'm a 'know-it-all' when what set you off was me asking about someone I didn't know about.

Leipzig just signed him for 13m.

He was the golden boot winner And player of the tournament at the u19 euro’s. We didn’t exactly just pull him off of a French farm....


As for ‘trash’ Monaco, they’d still kick the living shit out of every championship side, which is about the only thing relevant in this discussion.

They 'just' signed him but are now willing to offload him to Monaco after 48 games, clearly seen enough not to want him anymore if they included an option to buy. And it's not even working out at Monaco who now want to offload him too, so forgive me for not thinking he's going to come in and rip up the Championship.

Is it even confirmed yet?

For a bloke that you had no idea about yesterday, you suddenly seem to know every detail about him. Looks like a promising player who will fit the Bielsa style who should do well at Championship level.

Every detail? I know he was bought by Leipzig and loaned out to Monaco with an option to buy, Gero linked as such yesterday then some bloke had a meltdown and filled in gaps too. I then googled and saw he took penalties for Leipzig so his goal stats were even more padded.

You still think your in the EPL.

A squad player for either side is definitely good enough for this league.
 
He's also 22. players are patronised and given an extra couple of years these days. even off the bench for a top Bundesliga side, it's not the worst developmental phase. honestly it's the sort of signing you could see a Brighton or Villa make to ensure they stay up.
