FA Cup and replays can be a financial windfall for the smaller non-EPL teams and can fund them for a long time. This replay would be fantastic for Shrewsbury's finances so good on them.

The big boys happily play in an expanded Champions League and take the $, but there is much more to football other than at the top of the pack.

Keep the replays for rounds 1-5.

Not really the magic of the cup. Many of the players in the Shrewsbury team came from similar academies so they are really of equal talent, just not experience.

I know one of the games will be moved. The schedule is crazy though.

Btw, U23 teams regularly play L1/2 teams and win in the EFL trophy... so it shouldn't be a huge surprise.

I think Newcastle 2019/20 will probably go down as the luckiest PL team in history. They have had I reckon about 5 home wins where they have been smashed, teams are regularly wasteful against them and they’re just defensive and s**t.
