I got a CT scan done in November and they gave me the disk in an envelope that looks like it would have had film in it

I've definitely had a film x-ray in the last 10 years and at a new practice too

some practices still use it I don't deny that, but it is old technology. With digital images any radiologist or specialist can be given access to the images no matter what part of the planet they are sitting in.

I’ve torn my ACL twice and meniscus three times and been given the MRI slides themselves each time. A report gets emailed to my doc and specialist but the specialist still always likes to look at the slides themselves (not defending Browne, he’s a flog )
