Reckon this is a great argument not to start any of them if possible, aiming to do corrective trades after 2 rounds when we know what their roles really are.
Don't you want to do corrective trades on rookies, not on mid-pricers/premos?
I'd rather have a mid-pricer than somebody like Max King, who will play, but may average 30-40 (even though we'll be forced to take him as he'll be one of the only forward cheapies named lol)

The problem with Acres is they gave him an inch and he took a mile then twang Hammy. On a positive it does open the door for a nice $102,400 rookie Just saying

Originally starting Dawson and Hill forward was an advantage.
Now presented with fwd mid price options vs defensive rookie options
mean Dawson and Hill start in defence at the expense of starting any premo defenders above Houston's price.

Yes but you're not going Dev Smith at F6, who you got after him? Georgiadis? King? Cameron? At this stage, I prefer the scoring potential of Greaves, Williamson, Gould, etc (if they play)

Am I the only one starting Wingard?

Only POD I'm running to start the season.
I did have him but I got in Greenwood for him can see Chad rested with hamstring/calf soreness from a mile away

For some reason i just dont see Greenwood being a great SC pick. To me, he seems like a better selection for DT. Yes, he gets contested ball and lays tackles but i dont think his disposal is great. He will increase his average due to more time in the middle but i think he will be a little bit like Brad Crouch in terms of lots of possessions not translating to huge scores. Definitely not a bad option but i like Petracca slightly better for a bit less and Wingard for 50k less.

They both have 90+ in them.

I just think Chad misses more games then Greenwood

True, Wingard is more injury prone. Wingard has been a bit of a tease in the past too. If he plays midfield as expected he will score well but if he spends more time forward he will be inconsistent. In terms of assurity of role, Greenwood trumps Wingard, but that extra 50k is useful to me.

I found the extra money to get Steven to Petracca. I’m worried as I don’t want the Melbourne bias to come through. However if he gets enough mid time he’ll go 100+.
Who is the Centre rotation?
Petracca, Brayshaw, Oliver, Viney cameos from Jones, Vandenburg, Harmes, Melksham?

What has changed from last year?
Less Jones and Harmes more Petracca?

Post bye Bailey Smith averaged 88 in wins (8 of them) and 54 in losses. (4 of them)
Just look when he gets to 20 disposals that’s his magic number. Unfortunately the role he played marsh 1 was identical to the one Dunkley played in the start of 2019 when everyone traded him out starting forward. Lipinski was the 4th guy they were going to besides the big 3 in the middle so until Bailey Smith is getting a bit more mid time I don’t see it. Wait and see though cause I was big on him early in pre season. Lipinski at a few more thousand is better value imo

I’m the same sentiment but with brayshaw
Just doesn’t scream supercoach player
He will score 90 in dream team but can see that being an 85 in supercoach cause the correlation doesn’t really flow with him.
Just a gut feel anyway
