When GG can post 3289373767373 Star Wars videos, I can post a few on Star Trek.
Literally no one else enjoys them. And if people do they know where to find them.
Spat out my drink at Mike's "Stop talking about Farscape!" lol

A team of engineers was sighted recently at Gene Roddenberry's grave. Apparently his spinning has become a harvestable source of energy.
Both Discovery and Picard have moved away from Roddenberry's view of an idyllic future for mankind, but seriously, there was not much further they could take that idea, conflict from within is as, if not more, interesting than conflict from without.Lol
Think it’s a great show and carry’s on the characters and plots from past shows.

Yes, but the conflict was from without. Roddenberry had a mandate that the shows had to demonstrate an idyllic view of mankind and the conflict could not actually be between the main characters. In Picard, in particular, Starfleet is being shown as fractured as our current society by abandoning the Romulans out of fear. Picard is at odds with the Federation and Starfleet. The idea that humankind had overcome its fears and pettiness has been dropped. There was plenty of conflict in the OS, Next Gen and all the movies.
The ideals are still there.

It’s 10 episodes?I'm enjoying the series but I do find it so slow, and there's only one episode left for this season so we're not going to learn much more about Soji I suspect.
Roddenberry hated the Undiscovered Country. And he was booted off TNG pretty early in the piece. That said, TNG was still largely his vision. DS9 definitely wasn’t.It isn’t over yet. Whose to say we can’t overcome?
And it wasn’t always external, Undiscovered Country? Many Next Gen episodes with internal conflict.
