Good to see south Korea and China are now reporting fewer new cases, in fact China's new cases are in single digits.

Goes to show isolation/quarantine is working, hopefully Australia has acted quickly enough to prevent a situation we are seeing in Europe.
NZ have just effectively closed their borders
which will mean no NRL or super rugby or cricket.

I too have had similar issues with toilet paper hoarders at shopping centre.

And yet today I went in the bottle shop and had the entire place to myself.

People's priorities are very weird
If there's a run on tonic water I'm in trouble. My gin needs this.

500 bucks I’ll send you a four pack

Considering the financial impacts all clubs are facing this season no matter what happens, I for one am happy to pay for my membership every month regardless. I see it as a small part I can play in helping my club stay financially afloat.

The umpiring for West Coast home games is gonna be interesting...

I went to the brewery shop first thing Saturday morning and it was pretty packed. Seemed a few people had the same thoughts as me

Practical tips for surface sanitising targeted in nature:

We all need to make our home a fortress to surface transmission. it is right now and will stay so IF we follow the following steps

1) every time someone comes into the house from outside the first thing that is done before touching anything is they sanitise their hands

2) the following items then need to be sanitised

- front door handle and inside door handle
- car steering wheel
- car door handles inside and out
- car brake handle
- your mobile phone
- the keys
- the wallet or purse
- handbag strap

3) the Fawcett to tap in which you washed your hands. If that is mode of sanitisation. We have large bottle of pump hand sanitiser

4) Food purchases containers require wipe down with anti bacterial wipes before placement in pantry fridge or freezer

You get the idea? Any touch connection to the outside world is sanitised. your fortresss will remain a fortress as it was before the trip outside. Still needing occasional surface sanitising microwave, oven, Fawcett, pantry handles kitchen bench , door handles etc etc but fortress intact

Before anyone has a go at me that I need to stop being paranoid I will advise that I have a 93 yo living in the house who will likely die if any resident catches the virus and transmits it to her. Those that have this responsibility know it’s burden

I put this out there because I take my responsibility to her seriously and have rationalised how I can make the house a fortress for all benefit but ultimately hers

Of course this only deals with surface sanitisation not person to person transmission which can only be interrupted with a N95 mask and self isolation

sounds like the afl are determined all games will go ahead

talk of multiple games a week with extended benches, extended lists etc
I’m all for the AFL thinking outside the box in order to play games and get through the season but they’ll need to be careful that they don’t make so many changes that they lose the integrity of the competition, with the result that the premier ends up with a massive asterisk next to their name. Well, unless a premier with an asterisk is considered to be better than no premier at all, I guess.
