I have New Leaf but never got into it.
Same here!!
I like the idea of building a custom house and the potential of the game but had no time.
So I haven’t touched my switch in a long time, the last thing I played was Diablo 3 when that came out. That’s about to change now I have a two hour commitment to work each day.
Looking at picking up a nice meaty RPG, either Dragon Quest, Fire Emblem or maybe something a little lighter like links awakening.
On another note, I can’t believe how expensive switch games are, Nintendo first party games just never seem to drop in price!

If you’re looking for a really meaty rpg, you can do a lot worse than divinity: original sin 2. I’ve been playing it on the switch and am absolutely loving it.

I've got Witcher, Ni no Kuni, Divinity, Langrisser (soon), Dragon Quest, Daemon x Machina, Bloodstained, Shining Resonance Refrain on the backburner... and that's just RPGs. And probably not even all of them.

Baldo looks like my kinda thing. Summer in Mara should be good too. Good ol Swery and his new game The Good Life might be fun.

If I was to go out and buy a Switch for something to do while all this is going down, what would you recommend for games? So going all the way back to when it was released - 3 or 4 games I should get?

Breath Of The Wild is one of my favourite games of all time so that’s a start, probably depends on what types of games you like because there are plenty that can eat up your time.

Partially for my wife who isn't a big gamer, but may be stuck in the house a fair bit over the next few weeks as well.
Animal Crossing might not be a bad option either, pretty harmless game that can keep you busy

Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze is pretty good too! A gorgeous looking game, But be warned it can get very frustrating and challenging!

It'll be my third time buying the game but I still want it.
Monolith also did a good job building the trailer for the new epilogue. No big spoilers I could see.

X-Com 2 (although I don't trust 2K's track record), Bravely Default 2 and Panzer Dragoon are also on my list.

Probably a good thing I don't play Smash anymore since the new fighters don't grab my attention. Saints Row 4 is something else I'll pick up when there is a discount.
