What's the point of saying "this is the mark" if you then let the player line up a good metre or more closer than that without pulling him any further back? Players just bet on the umpires never enforcing it and they're right every time.

Easily our biggest win against the Cats.

Great game all round. We were not absolutely dominant in a number of facets of the game, so there's plenty to work on. But we were solid in most aspects, and particularly pleasing was the pressure applied throughout, and the accurate goalkicking for once. Really happy with the game played by lots of the players.

Sad for Adam Kennedy - reckon that opens the way for a replacement back next week as we can't risk him straight up. Lachie Ash to debut or Jackson Hately?
