What would a current day World XI vs Asian XI look like?

Anyone else remember the Tsunami relief game? Well, however many years later I'm wondering what a modern version of that would look like. Test and ODI. Obviously India would dominate the Asian XI for the most part but what would you guys think in the side. For me, they would look like this:

World XI:

Two very good sides, although you could nearly say it's Aust v India (and rightly so).

It looks like the sides have been picked on currrent rankings, for me the rankings are more a guide than anything. I mean Smith has played 9 tests in the last 2 years and is currently #1. Averaged under 40 for the aussie summer. Mind you, he is first picked for me.

The World XI side could have had Root, but at whose expense is the question. He could also be a 2nd spin option in that case. Maybe Quentin opens and Latham makes way, or Quentin makes way and Latham keeps.

Holder, while a good player and very under rated, could have been replaced with the likes of Hazlewood, Boult, Wagner to help Cummins & Rabada as I think there's enough batting already. Either way it's as good as you'll get. Holder could then be in a 3 way battle with DeGrandhomme for Stokes spot @ 7, however Stokes is a no brainer considering his 2019 form.

The Asia XI could have easily had Rohit Sharma and/or Tamim Iqbal as openers.

A 3rd quick / medium pacer could come in to assist Bumrah & Shami eg. Angelo Matthews or Ashwin (depending where you were playing).

Mohammed Aamir or even Ishant could also be a possibilty to replace Shami.

That Smith, Williamson, Labuschagne don't provide?

Latham in that time played: 4x England, 4x South Africa, 6x Australia, 2x India. The "Big 4" in 46% of his games
Root in that time played: 10x Australia, 5x India, 8x South Africa. The other members of the Big 4 in 59% of his games

Latham is more deserving of a spot because simply put, he has been better. Just because Root is considered to be among the likes of Smith, Williamson and Kohli in the "big 4" talks doesn't necessarily mean he's better.

I think Rashid Khan is one of the most overrated cricketers in the game today. Just to stir up some controversy I'm dropping him from the AXI side and replacing him with Shaheen Afridi.

His stats, as a starting point for deconstruction, are phenomenal...

Tests: 23 wickets @ 21
ODIs: 133 wickets @ 18.5
T20Is: 89 wickets @ 12.6

First-Class: 58 wickets @ 17.4
List A: 137 wickets @ 18.6

T20s: 296 wickets @ 17.2

I can see the argument that a lot of the wickets above would have been against players from lower and associate nations, sure. So I see where you are coming from. I disagree, though. He's proven an adept bowler at deceiving and dismissing International level players for years.

The last frontier is playing more Test cricket and proving he can take wickets consistently at that level against the best. But I wouldn't call him overrated based on a lack of opportunity, given he's made every post a winner thus far.
