there are no other teams worthy
I've SEEN Jesaulenko play on the tv, both in first season I followed but more importantly past footage of grand finals etc etc.
Nicholls I seen on the black and white grand finals.
He is best according to the people that seen more footy than me.

For what I have seen Jesaulenko is best seen of eras I seen on tv and games attended.

Next best is Wayne Johnston

Next best Bruce Doull

Next best Stephen Silvagni

Gets harder after this,,, Hunter, Greg Williams, Ashman, Judd, Kernahan and Bradley all got good claims for next...

i'll get back to it when given more thought..

EDIT as I giving it more thought when get back to this.

1. Alex Jesaulenko
2. Wayne Johnston
3. Bruce Doull
4. Stephen Silvagni
5. Ken Hunter
6. Stephen Kernahan
7. Rod Ashman
8. Craig Bradley
9. Greg Williams
10. Chris Judd
11. David McKay
12. Geoff Southby
13. Wayne Harmes
14. Patrick Cripps
15. Anthony Koutoufides
16. Kade Simpson

apologies to Brett Ratten, Peter Boustow, Kenny Sheldon, Peter Dean, Adrew McKay, Mark Maclure, Val Perovic, Jimmy Buckley and Mike Fitzpatrick

Note: My votes on Jezza, McKay and Southby are a combination of the little I saw of them to know how good they were as veterans and then combined with the many seasons before that I seen of them from videos at their best in their prime years to have a greater understanding of their total career worth in premierships well before my time.

After a bottle of red, without thinking at all - that looks pretty good. I think the extinct one might have a point with Hunter though. Madden out - loses points for where he began, and was genetically blessed, whereas Hunter wasn't.

I agree that Hunter should be in , that list was pretty much off the top of my head but i don't really think i should be editing now. The person I did struggle with leaving out was Rod Ashman.

Bit like Fev at the Brownlow - loses the plot a bit at the end. Andy McKay I can have though.
They’re players I really liked watching. Yarran and betts. And skinny was another. Scotland was a very reliable player always felt better when he was in the side. Similar to a. mackay.

No particular order - copied and pasted, then removed and added. Based on finals and what I saw with my own eyes, wouldn't mind $10 on W. Johnston at the 16's you will no doubt give me ;)

* Jezza was nearly finished when i saw him play but technically, and according to the rules, i saw him play so he’s in and could quite easily be our greatest player of ALL time ...

No love for big Swanny McKay??

Best KP mark at the club until Sticks .....and he could slipper it 70 yards.

Jezza moving him to chb in ‘78 was the missing piece in those glory years.

Near enough BOG in the ‘70 gf, gave big Len Thompson an almighty hiding.

He gets in my 16......at 16.

He could retire now and still have done enough.

Ps. Pls don't retire Crippa. :rainbow:
oh great - cripps puts contract talks on hold "now is a good time to reflect on my future".............west coast prepare mega offer........nice one, soap.......
