But yeah, Footscray will be Footscray for some time yet. The $$$ behind it is almost solely due to its proximity to the CBD. Imagine if they put a more direct tram route down Dynon and/or Footscray Rds!

Three Fremantle Dockers players are under investigation after they were allegedly seen partying at a Perth house on Sunday, potentially breaching WA’s COVID-19 restrictions before they were eased by Premier Mark McGowan on Monday.
A video clip shared on Instagram by a woman at the alleged gathering on Sunday panned around a lounge room in a Perth home, showing Dockers players Luke Ryan and Michael Frederick sitting on a couch drinking beers with four friends while Carter plays music from a DJ set up.
The recording was allegedly taken before WA’s social distancing restrictions which limited gatherings to two people were relaxed to allow for groups of 10 to socialise; and shows Carter’s girlfriend GEorgia Cummings and ruckman Rory Lobb’s girlfriend Lexi Mary dancing in the room.

A Fremantle Football Club spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia it was investigating the incident.
“We are in the process of speaking to the players involved and gathering all the relevant details and information,” they said.
“Once that is completed, the club will be in a position to comment further.”
WA Police have been contacted by The West Australian.
