For any poster who ever puts themselves out there via media or in match threads, you're bound to get called out. For some, ignorance is an mechanism. For others, ignoring posts and changing the course of the conversation. Personally, I like to get on the front foot and fight fire with fire.
Then we have what I like to call "The Wayneo Methodology". It's quite brilliant in it's simplicity and... idiocy. See, Wayne likes casting aspersions and making big claims based on whimsical heresy. Usually these make 0 sense to anyone but the Bombers, but once you're indoctrinated it's all about running that narrative. So, please find below the two step process.
Step One: "Evidence"
So, you've made a claim against another poster, group of posters, or club. And they've come back at you. Time to panic, right? Wrong! Simply tell them that you have irrefutable evidence in PMs that you will absolutely be releasing all in due time. The secret? You don't actually have any evidence! Below I have included some examples for those of you out there looking to following in Wayneo's footsteps. It's worth noting that he also had evidence of PMs pertaining to the Caz, TFFN, and Metalcrusher situations. However, I needed a shower after 30 minutes of wading through Wayne's post and haven't found those particular claims yet.
Step Two: Become a Laughing Stock!
No instructions necessary, really.
If done properly, and over a long-period of time, this should also create a culture at your club where everyone does it! Even in arguments that you lose, even when the entire league is against you, you can walk away feeling like you have won. You'll never have to admit to losing! And the best part? You can just make stuff up and no one will ever be able to prove you wrong!
So remember, dip, duck, dive, dodge, refer to evidence you have no way of producing, and... dodge.
