Hi guys,

Starting a thread as per the title for logos that are maybe just too similar in design/layout/execution.

Let's see what we can dig up!

To get things rollin: Dune Oudoor Luxuries and Dune (film), and bonus contestant Dune Ceramica

If i recall the Clippers had their logo like that when they were in San Diego, the 80s i think? I'm pretty sure the Lakers one pre-dates that though. Not sure about the Kings.

To be fair though, the logo in the centre is much cleaner. And they did away with the gradient on the scrolls.

Thought it'd be obvious, but the PFD logo is a straight ripoff of the AFL logo.

And to a lesser extent my team in Greece's top flight (probably not for much longer) had this one a little while ago, with a different shield type.

I find that it’s common practice for people to reuse NCAA college logos without realising they have.

Same with NFL logos. I'm tired of seeing the Philadelphia Eagles logo everywhere in Aussie suburban sport

Craigieburn in the EDFL springs to mind. Recolour, 180deg rotation, removal of a stroke around the eagle, addition of a gradient, banners and text. But it’s still the Philadelphia Eagles.

I love how Vermont goes and does all that, and then uses some shitty Paint font for the 'Vermont' text on the logo.
