I absolutely hated that quote from Beveridge. Just because he can hit targets under minimal pressure at training doesn’t mean he is a good kick. Surely he’s smart enough to realise that a good kick is determined by how they perform under significant AFL pressure.Bev said that Gardner is a very good kick. He must leave it on the training track. His total kicks in his short career so far tallies 16. At least 4 of them went down the throat of opposition players, and 2 of them went down the throat of Harry Suck sitting in row 5.
