ask and ye shall receive:

Yep. Never struck me previously that Manhattan was not conducive to the formulation of ideas, or lacked dynamism.

Started campaigning in 1999. 42 months in office. 3 months to prepare for his re-election campaign rally. Unable to even come up with a few ‘motherhood statements’.

However if one thing is definite, it's that racial profiling has never and will never be the approach to combating the virus, it is truly disgusting that you think that.

Barring the travel ban on China early, Trump has performed arguably worse than any other world leader than perhaps Bolsonaro. Once the extent and severity of the virus was realised, the democrats handled the virus substantially better than Trump.

You talk about people being ignorant of the science of epidemiology, yet somehow support this kind of idiot.

And no s***, no one is arguing China is blameless in this as well, but they have to answer to the entire global community for the origins and failed containment of the virus from their own country. Once the virus was shown to be in the US, the onus was on their government to lead and protect the people from the worst of it. So you can try and deflect on China and the Dems all you like, in the end the orange f***wit is the one in charge and the buck stops with him.

Interesting point of view
Was it racial profilingor simply geographically profiling?

Is it Scott Morrison’s fault that Victoria has a massive recent spike in the virus or is it the local state leader Daniel Andrews?

Does the buck stop with Morrison in Aus as well or is there something about the United States that’s different where federal government must control everything?

Cheers

40,000 people still flew from China to America after Trump's "China Ban" was put in place. Was there any sort of co-ordinated quarantining and testing of these people?

Hardly a massive spike. 30 new cases per day. For perspective, Florida just recorded 9,000 new cases today.

There not good numbers. The question remains, state or federal government’s fault?

If federal, why do we apportion blame differently in Australia to the USA?
Why does it have to be someone’s fault? We’re doing incredibly well here. Yes even Victoria. Occasional clusters are hardly surprising, given the nature of the virus. Here in SA we’ve been among the best but there have still been some major stuff ups that fortunately didn’t result in outbreaks.

Add in to that people simply doing the wrong thing (as evidenced by some of the family clusters in Victoria atm). Why apportion blame right now?

Unless he is considering not to run . His poll numbers are going down quicker than a bride on her wedding night. Narcissists in their mind cant lose . If he didnt run he didnt lose.

I agree. Why should it be someone’s fault?

People in this thread are definitely look for a scapegoat.

Do you think that the US has handled the pandemic anywhere near as well as Australia? Australia has had 7593 total cases since the pandemic began. The US had over 42000 just in the last 24 hours, now over 2.5 million cases. There is a lot more blame to be spread in the US, Trump doesn't get all of it but he does get plenty.

Florida almost 9,000 cases a day. NY only had a few days worse than that, and they'd already shutdown.

Harris County, TX is now at its ICU capacity.

MAGA!!!!

The other scary thing is the cost. Estimated that the average hospital stay in the States will leave you with a $30,000 bill. 100 if you’re ventilated. Fine for those with insurance but this is going to break a lot of people, even if they recover.

Not a good time to have 20%+ unemployed and many dependent on employer-sponsored health insurance

Kidding, right?
She understands that there are enough dumb buggers around who will pay her to confirm this snake oil.
We’re talking about America, after all, where manic capitalism has tended to mean a hell of a lot of the country is divided into those on the take, and those gulled by those on the take.

Thank non-existent god there is a third category, American idealists, who still cleave to a higher standard.

I’m happy to say all of my American friends fit into the third category. Gentle, decent, honest people.

Such a shame their voices are being drowned out right now by the hucksters, validated and encouraged by the huckster-in-chief and his barrackers like Owens.

Surely a rhetorical question.
The Australian public have handled it well with good messaging and leadership at State and Federal level.

I can’t comment about US leadership at state level, maybe you can provide more?

Trumps leadership on the issue has been sh1t.

Candace Owens is just playing a role because its making her money. I don't think she believes any of the things she says. She is just a grifter.

No no no robbie! Owens is a paragon of truth and integrity. Colin Kaepernick is actually the grifter, I've been reliably informed 🤣🤣🤣

Both China and the Democrats are deserving to have blame thrown at them.

Why did Biden oppose the travel bans that Trump implemented on China and Europe, in USA Today he was quoted as saying: “Diseases have no borders, they have no borders.” On March 12, Biden Tweeted, “A wall will not stop the coronavirus. Banning all travel from Europe — or any other part of the world — will not stop it…” He got it completely wrong as isolating virus hotspots and racially profiling were exactly the approaches to take to reduce the spread of the virus but that did not play to Biden's political demographic.

Why in mid-February did Andrew Cuomo encourage people to celebrate the Chinese New Year, whilst claiming that the seasonal flu was a greater risk than Covid19 - he should be the most despised politician in America.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said before the lunar New Year parade in Manhattan when encouraging New Yorkers to attend this event: "We know in China so many of our loved ones are facing the challenge of coronavirus," , flanked by state and local officials. "But we stand together," he said. "No matter what's thrown at us in this city, we are united."

What was Nancy Pelosi thinking when she travelled to Chinatown on the day Trump announced his China travel ban and quarantine and told people it is very safe here and I hope others come.

Basically, what it tells you is that senior Democrat politicians have handled the coronavirus outbreak substantially worse and more irresponsibly than Trump but then they beheld by their vested political interests in these matters. The science of quarantine and isolation of the virus seems to be lost on these Democrat politicians their actions consistent with people that are ignorant of the science of epidemiology.

Why did China lock down all domestic travel internally by the end of January 2020 but push to keep international travel open until the end of March 2020. Whilst, this policy suppressed the virus in China, it lead to a virus explosion worldwide.

So it seems like you're the one drinking the kool-aid but then you're not really concerned about a discussion on the spread of covid-19 rather just scoring a few political points by spreading mis-information.

"Basically, what it tells you is that senior Democrat politicians have handled the coronavirus outbreak substantially worse and more irresponsibly than Trump"

Hahahahahahaha - Trump is President, Keep up.

Where did you quote this from verbatim, that you incorporated their font?

Oh, and maybe Democrats did some wrong things - but when the sh*t hits the fan, people ask what's the president doing about it?

And they know he's doing nothing.
First thing I noticed, maybe he also needs a little cut and paste pic on his profile.:)
