Gone with the Wind is back on HBO. They've added a four-minute disclaimer explaining that slavery was bad.

Thanks HBO. Can you also tell us what to think about The Godfather, Apocalypse Now and all of Roman Polanski's films.

A leading scholar at the University of Oxford believes conservatives are afraid to stand up to the “zealous left-wing minority” who want to “erase and rewrite history” in case doing so prompts the mob to destroy their careers.
So basically they don't have the courage of their convictions...

They've been paid by Cec Rhodes money, it'll keep coming despite the statue tumbling - bit like the journos at The Guardian, they keep taking their money - principles are for the dummies doing the toil, not those pulling the strings.

lol thats just stupid, But I don’t see anything wrong in Mike continuing in his role, he does a fantastic job in voicing Cleveland.

Neither do I personally, but it is ultimately his call. Other voice actors have also announced they are stepping out of speaking roles for African American characters, on shows like Big Mouth.

How many media stories come from FB and Twitter?

news.com.au certainly wouldnt exist.

Sure the media feed off Twitter but the media, or news media as it's called, works entirely off clickbait. This isnt a new age phenomenon.

How do you think they sold news papers on stands? Same way gossip magazines do. Clickbait headlines that promise drama. Eventually the current issue loses its tang so they move on.

Twitter and FB is still plenty full of protestor news and police brutality being exposed but it isnt drawing the clicks right now.

Maybe Truth and News Of The World but Id say most serious newspapers sold based on quality journalism.
