You need to change your handle to Old Dog. Excuse the ageism!I'd be torn, I was 30 when the Eagles started so supported West Perth for a long time.
Can't see my other half switching allegiance so I'd probably stick with the Eagles but have a soft spot for WP.
I was born in 1985 (turn 35 this year), so the WAFL wasn't really a thing when I grew up, was AFL or nothing.
SameWho are the 2 that have so far voted Yes ? Interested.
I'm in my 20's, I don't have a WAFL club and I have no emotional attachment to the WAFL. Most people my age and younger will be the same. For this reason a WAFL club will never be upgraded and if another WA side gets added it will be a brand new entity.
Agreed.I bet the AFL won't let the WAFC hold the license either...
How flat would that go over in wa.....I bet the AFL won't let the WAFC hold the license either...
How flat would that go over in wa.....
Two teams where the profits go to wa football and one that doesnt....
Making a noose for your own neck
I refuse to believe it!!AFL making tone-deaf decisions based on fattening their own purse? Would never happen
This. There is no world where I would support West Perth in the AFL over the Eagles.
The second the Eagles joined the WAFL, they became my team and West Perth were an opposing side I had a soft spot for.
