Question..... why is an afl player, 4 weeks into the season, drinking all night... these guys are professional..

Why are you trying to analyse a story that has more holes in it than Swiss Cheese?
Once again we suck it up and move on till our next player does something.........rinse.........repeat.
On the back of the mother of all umpiring blunders.
Last season, its a $5000 club imposed fine, this year its 4 games.Question..... why is an afl player, 4 weeks into the season, drinking all night... these guys are professional..

I'm a ex-umpire, I knew exactly was was going on. International cricket umpires are a disgrace now - they just hold your hat and count the balls.Yet no one knew it at the time and everyone was surprised what the rule actually was.
Anyone care to run a book on who? I reckon Taylor Adams is overdue.
Didn't they say they thought it was contestable? So Collingwood isn’t appealing, obviously feel it’s a fair penalty or Steele doesn’t want to go into the hub and wants a holiday.
Needs a poll you think sr36?Anyone care to run a book on who? I reckon Taylor Adams is overdue.
Steele said he didn’t want them to appeal.Didn't they say they thought it was contestable?
Ah, maybe there is more we dont know.Steele said he didn’t want them to appeal.
Phillips might panic at a green light.Phillips might panic at an amber light?
Just cant bring yourself to do it, can you?Still gloating I see. You must be so happy tonight.
At least it's early in the season.Needs a poll you think sr36?
Why do we do this to ourselves.........time and time again.
I started lurking around the end of 2012 and have no memory of thisI remember when everyone on this forum got along.
Despite the humiliation, if I was Steele I'd choose drunken stupidity.I would have preferred Sidebottom missing 4 weeks through another ruptured testicle rather than through a night of drunken stupidity.
It's incredibly frustratingDon't disagree with what you've said here, fact is almost every year our best players do their best to make themselves unavailable by doing stupid s***.
Yeah move on, two of our best players out, 1 for maybe the season and 1 for probably a month by doing something stupid. Club penalized.
But that's ok, we'll do it again next year or on the eve of finals. Who's turn now? Is Pendles due? What about Darcy or Billy? Finally getting on top of their injuries - how about they make themselves unavailable doing something stupid, week before finals, perfect!. Must be in the charter at our club.
Nah f***** over it.
Pick who up?Who was supposed to pick them up?
Trust you to construe the club's official statement in the worst possible way. You do not follow the Pies mate. You just come on here to troll and stir up angry debate with your provacative posting. So Collingwood isn’t appealing, obviously feel it’s a fair penalty or Steele doesn’t want to go into the hub and wants a holiday.
