Looks like a young Angus Monfries in the pic.
Have to say I’m genuinely surprised that he is 1.81 metres. That’s a little taller than Leigh Matthews who was around 5 10 in the old scale - just needs to put some more muscle on that frame and he could be one very dangerous and damaging customer
Pulls more faces than Jerry Lewis or Jim Carey.
So does he become a A-grade centre-square midfielder over the next two years? I think he can do it and we need him to.
Yeah, we've a good nucleus with these 3, Hayes in Ruck, Marshall and MG up forward. Our (not so) tall defenders the obvious gaping hole that needs addressing as top priority for our next flag tilt.He showed a fair bit in little patches last season but yeah the gloss was taken off him by Rozee and Duursma and rightly so.
Butters has come along in leaps and bounds this season. I love his relentless courage and energy no matter the game circumstance. I love that he is cheeky and has a funny personality but loves to niggle and get into opponents.
He's a gem and could absolutely be anything in the next few years. HUGE upside
When you think of our 2018 draft you just shake your head in amazement. These 3 kids could all be superstars of the competition and are all totally different players
You are right. His contested marking is much better than i'd expect from someone as light framed as he is.One thing that has surprised me this year has been zak’s marking ability in one on one contests. Seems to be very strong over head and doesnt get knocked off the contest even with his lack of size at this young stage in his career.
