I'm not sure if it's already been mentioned but I could imagine that Round 6 will become the "Sir Doug Nicholls" Round and that some of the traditional games from that round will be played then--- attach it to NAIDOC week.

So lock in Essendon vs tigers round 6?

So lock in Essendon vs tigers round 6?

Especially with what’s been happening in the world at the moment—- the AFL will want to focus on their Indigenous Round & inclusiveness as soon as possible

The next four weeks is going to be a tough stretch for Hawthorn. The fixture should be based on ladder position from the previous year!!!

Good news I guess is the Hawks will have 6-7 home games at the MCG to come.

WA hard border likely to remain until 19 july

Mark McGowan.... indicated the hard border with the east would remain in place until at least the end of the July school holidays.

Soooo, that wold mean Monday 20 July would be reopening.

round 5 (last one released) finishes on Sunday 5 July.

Soooo, there are two weekends there where either the hub remains open for two more weekends

or

the WA teams return home, have a bye, and then play a derby on the weekend of the 18/19 July (or the other way around, return and have derby on 11/12 july, then a bye)

So they just stay in Gold Coast for an extra 2 weeks

So fixture from memory for next 2 round due to release next monday

for vic teams only stkilda will have not travelled out of vic this entire first 5 rounds

lock saints in for an interstate trip WA if games there or GC

They are saying that they may only release the fixture for round 6 next week, in order to figure out what to do next.

Chances are we remain in QLD for round 6, and in that case we will play Adelaide (not sure whose home game).

It would have to be West Coast's home game. Port Adelaide (v West coast), adelaide (v fremantle) and Fremantle (v Port Adelaide) have already given up a home game vs the other hub teams.

So have we (Round 5 v Richmond).

If the WA teams can’t return home for that week then we’ll probably be giving up a home game to host someone at Metricon. Unless they send Freo south to play an away game in Melbourne or Sydney.

The reporting is a bit all over the shop.

There was a report the we will play Adelaide in the hub.

Another that said we will be forced to travel interstate.

Eagles and Dockers players have permission to isolate at home on their return from Queensland. This combined with Optus being allowed to have 60,000 from July 18 probably means that they’ll stay in the hub for one more week, come back to WA and play a derby as soon as they can get a full stadium for it.

What’s the rules in SA for the next month or so?

So who’s going where in this Vexit?

Carlton - NSW
Collingwood - WA
Essendon - ?
Geelong - WA
Hawthorn - NSW
Melbourne - ?
North - ?
Richmond - ?
Saints - Qld
Bulldogs - WA

Need one more for WA, I would’ve thought Carlton was the obvious one as they haven’t played any of the teams currently coming here but they’re reportedly off to NSW.

Might be some movement between NSW and Qld with teams crossing the Tweed after they’ve been out of Victoria long enough
