Absolutely brilliant win!

To close out a highly rated, in-form team in the last quarter so clinically and maturely like that, just wow. We haven't done that in so long. Full credit to the players and coaches for executing today. Very important win and so important mentally.

We were super well organised in defence, pressure was awesome. We still lose one on one contests a bit too often but we rarely subject ourselves to them.

Going inside 50 was frustrating, but GWS are a big, talented, organised defence.

Balance felt a lot better in the midfield. The gut running by the likes of SPP and Farrell was excellent. Farrell especially had a brilliant game, and is ahead of Motlop when Duursma is fit.

Gutsy win, we made a lot of sloppy errors through three quarters and looked flat footed. Put it down to hub fatigue. But damn winning that is a different to the narrative of the last three years! SPP was a monster all day. Butters brilliant, absolute gun in the making.

Between Farrell, McKenzie and Amon we have some left foot weapons.
