I thought he has been fine too. Has played his role and his job. Its a strange year, not everyone is playing to their best. But he'll be alright.
Yeah. I don't see what more he could do. Does what he needs to do. There is nothing to complain about with our defense.People expecting maybe bit too much
Even wins, when a defender can keep their opponent scoreless can't keep this lot happy lol Have to find some reason.. He isn't Darcy Moore, he doesn't need big stats or anything. He is a goal keeper.yep, so far this weekend its been Cox, Phillips, Cal Brown, Ty Brown, Wills, JDG, Sidey, Bucks, now its Rough.....
Just imagine if we'd lost!![]()
I don’t see any reason why he should suddenly drop off a cliff, his game isn’t really built around great closing speed or athleticism. He’s a good size, good mobility, strong hands and a sound decision maker.Looks a touch lesser than last year. Still doing his job though. 15 months left of football is my guess... taking him to the end of 2021. Maybe the additional year beyond that as mature depth (like Dunn is this year) if he is up for that.
I thought he had an awful game and a half, but thought he was good in the second half against Cats.I would drop him tbh reckon he has been rubbish

Goodness. Nobody is perfect. Confusion and dropped marks happens. We still won by over 20, it clearly didn't affect the game or result. Only thing is we would have won by more.He may not have had any direct goals kicked on him but he was directly responsible for the cats first two goals. Firstly with that ridiculous decision in the ruck, then secondly by dropping an uncontested chest mark.
Defensively he has been good, but he does frustrate me with dopey and clumsy decisions and skills.
I hope Dunn gets a crack it again throughout the year to show his worth to the side and put pressure on Roughead to come with the required intensity to keep his spot.

Exactly. Full backs job is pretty simple, and he does just that. If someone wants to complain about something, the defence players is barking up the wrong tree.It ain't hard to keep tall forwards scoreless in the current season...
Roughhead has the easiest job in football, by far. Doesn't need to rebound or mark, just follow someone around and punch when it's kicked to him.

But certainly, if that's all there is to complain about... I think he is doing just fine!
Who cares. Not one player on the ground makes perfect decisions. Errors happen, to anyone. Whether its our forwards, mids or defenders. He does his job. He certainly wouldn't be the first player to erect an error in a game, nor would he be the last.I am just pointing out that you can't argue just because his man was goalless means he is doing a good job. Skill and decision making errors resulted in two goals he was directly responsible for.
Yes, these are relatively minor incidents, and they didn't affect the result in the end... but the point is it could when it really matters. He needs to bring more intensity.
That is all.
Daniher kicked 4 goals for the match, and one of them was on Roughy. I agree though, Jordan is doing his job.Who cares. Not one player on the ground makes perfect decisions. Errors happen, to anyone. But again, he plays to his strengths, does what he needs to do.
Daniher kicked 5 goals on Moore.
Crisp and maynard have turned the ball over that results in goals to the opposition.
Every defender has made their errors and inperfect decisions. Doesn't mean they aren't performing well enough.
It happens. Things happen in the heat of the moment. He isn't an intensity type of player. He uses his abilities in the right way.
Its bizarre. But can't make everyone happy...Strange negative reviews about his current form.
I must be missing something
