Wonder what gets the conversation started for LDU? Obviously going to be someone they try to rebuild around so might be tough but is a pretty good look imo. Hasn’t broken out yet so will come at a relatively reduced price (in comparison to what he could turn into) and is a good age to target (quite a bit of the development done already but not quite old enough to necessarily be demanding a starting centre square spot, could even play him on our wing that’s up for grabs weekly). Brander + what?

Also feel Norths rate him and he is the future for them.

As I mentioned earlier Anderson would be gettable, 26 and pretty decent depth mid / HFF. He is hard on the inside and really has a crack. One dynamic we lack a bit of.

I have it on very good knowledge that norf love that guy and he's very unlikely to be on the table. I can see why too.

Don't know how I feel about Hurn going on - I think I would prefer he didn't, but understand his motive to do so, to be our first 300 gamer.
His form has dropped noticeably this year.

Yep his pace and agility are now non existent. He also can't jump more than 6" off the ground . But I don't mind him going around again but he may not be best 22 anymore and wouldn't be getting paid a big sum

Shinboner personified. Hard as a cats head and worse looking but actually has a pretty good set of skills to go with the Archer-like thirst for physical contact.

Anderson is an average mid in a sh*t team .

He is no A grader but his best is up there with Redden's best IMO.

He's a player who can lift a team through his aggression and tackling. And the bloke can football.

If he is crap why was Simo keen to get him.

Would keep one of Hickey and Vardy as a back up other wise we have Nic Nat who is a year or two from hanging the boots up and Williams/Callum that have not had a game yet.

He is a natural mid and being played out of position with all the mids they have on their list.

I'm calling bullshit . Redden 2018 was his best year at west coast and it's way better than anything Anderson has ever produced . Redden had even better years at Brisbane

Anderson best season avarage 20 disposal 11 contested 5.5 tackles 3.6 clearances .

• He has had 2 seasons at about this output

Redden has had 6 seasons better than this and 2 seasons just below Anderson's best

Redden has been the far superior player not even close

Worth considering but a bit of a Dockers fringe player type recruit selection similar to the likes of Acres, Aish, Colyer, Conca Ect

Would you be replacing any of yeo shuey gaff Kelly Redden or sheed in a prime midfield position with Anderson?

Maybe in 2 years when redden and shuey are gone but replacing them with a Middling talent who would be 28 by then.

Much better to target a younger player .

With Brisbane and GC hopefully climbing the ladder players like Robertson Sharpe may be squeezed out .

No but he would be a good back up till Redden comes to an end, and there are always injuries. IIRC we went for him a few years ago.
