PJ Power is right as Hayes was the first ruckman drafted in the 2017 national draft with pick 47. The Richmond affect was in vogue that draft.

Both English and Ladhams were taken in 2016 drafts - English pick 19 in national draft in November and a week or two later Ladhams was taken pick 9 in the rookie draft.

Because the Pre Season draft and Rookie draft used to be on 1st February, they were called by year of that draft which is different year of the national draft, but all players from those 3 drafts were added to the same year's squad.

Then when the PSD and rookie draft were brought into December they were still give a different year to the national draft. Therefore officially Ladhams was in the 2017 Rookie Draft but it was held in December 2016.

4 weeks at least. Hopefully he is right for finals.
No that is not correct. He said Mots is one, maybe two games away. But Burton "with the condensed part of the season coming, will look to miss three or four games."

So with the compressed fixture that is two to three weeks, or one & a half Portnights! ;)

Really disappointing that Burtons body has broken down a lot. Is that his 3rd or 4th month long injury since he got here?

Yes.

Not just soft tissue injuries either, structural stuff in the knee. Not bound for a long career at this stage.

There is potential as he ages and develops that his body may be less prone to injury, time will tell. This years season and the interrupted prep is probably not the best measuring stick either.
