I can't think of player who by any measure appears to give less fu**s than R.Bonner

At the ground after I think it was the king George goal he's literally sauntering into position jogging like he was going to pick a beer out of the esky at the beach

Couldn't care less

Shittard was many things but he has more effort and heart in one of his crazy man tats than anything Bonner can find in himself

What about when he got "injured" and the commentators went looking for what happened, only to see he was in the middle and basically just fell over a saints player. They were like "let's take a look here.. oh"

No wonder he's so soft and scared of contact, if he gets injured falling on his hip on soft grass.

I think I hate Riley Bonner.

I've mentioned before Lienert had a run of games and just fell off defensively after a while.

Watts (if we want a tall), or Garner (if we want a small/medium defender) I feel are better options.

I would love to know is Ken making the final choice on players coming in ‘as in Kens favs’...... and that’s why we never see anything different.

With the run of games coming up now we need fresh legs, we look tired, Ken though doesn’t make many changes ever, I’d bring in some freshness, if Rozee needs a rest, give him one etc...

Seriously ‘what have we got to lose’ otherwise we are heading down the same path as usual....

Turn your light off on the way out Donna.

Look, I'm an unabashed Hoff but this asshattery alone, basically his whole career in a gif, deserves a spell, I mean, ffs...

Bring in Garner for a bit of defensive steel. He has a scything kick so fits the model. And he relishes the contact.

Gawn will pillage Ladhams and Hayes so bring in Buzza to support Ladhams if Lycett isn't fit. He will crash in hard at least and can rest forward, especially if Marshall is in doubt. None of our ruck options make their opposition second guess themselves except Lycett.

Woodcock in for - I can't believe this - Rozee who has done next to nothing all year.

Rockliff for Boak who just looks dead tired.

McKenzie should be recovered. Hoff back to the organic farm.

If there are any other tired or sore bodies out there, debut Bergman or some other rookie like Patmore.

I think the scientific thought process of relieving tired players due to the condensed period coupled with flying etc etc... is beyond Kens pay grade. He will do 2 changes at best, ‘you need to work harder lads’.....

I would love to know if Ken overrules the other coaches to our detriment.

Yeah I have the same thoughts as several of you rolling around in my head...

I am wondering how much longer Connor Rozee is going to be allowed to fly under the radar. I know you have to stick with young players but you also have to demonstrate that no one is gifted a place in the side. That said I am also aware that we were let down by players with a lot more experience than Connor last night but now might be the time to make a statement.

We also need two ruckmen in the side. Ladhams has enough ball getting ability to play as a second ruck and fill in up forward. I have not seen enough of Buzza to know if he could fill a second string ruck/ forward role but we need to bolster our tap ruck department. Last night Ryder and Marshall had 40 hit outs and 4 goals between them. Our lone ruckman with just 6 games experience got a bit of the football had 14 hit outs. It wasn't simply the stats, this gave the opposition a huge advantage around the stoppages and at the centre bounces.

Justin Westhoff was called up but I am not sure why. His form as been patchy and it would have been the perfect opportunity to give Jack Watts a run. He could not have done any worse. One can only assume that Jack Watts is either not fit or that his time at Alberton is at an end. Knowing Hinkley he will probably wait until round 17 to give Watts a call up then wonder why a player who has not had a competitive hit out in almost two years finds the going tough.

Until we know what the situation is fitness wise it is too early to make a definite call re ins and outs but there are a couple of players who should go and a couple who should come in.

If we don’t mix the ruck up the whole melb game will be in there forward line.

We might as well have the centre bounce in their forward line. Gawn will do what Ryder did except he will play the whole game and their mids will destroy us.

Good luck being a defender this week.

Why would you drop the kid?

I thought his game was okay last night. Buzzed around and did some classy things

Rozee ain’t our problem at the moment our inept, pedestrian midfield is the problem

Rozee needs to stay because development and also we can't replace his genuine speed and skills. Legitimately every player on our list are struggling in the forward flanks - Robbie, Motlop, Ebert.

He has said he would do it. But we also know he will want to protect his position and pick his favourites.

That's the test.

If that is the case why was Westhoff in last night's side after a 3 possession game the week before?

Closest thing we have to a tall back replacement off the emergencies, to support Ladhams and perhaps a reprieve.

But the disappointing thing is that Westhoff showed barely signs of a player wanting to win his spot back. There's just no way any coaches will ignore that.
