If Rampe is out and we win this game I will pay for Horse's statue at the SCG myself.

To be fair I think Mills, Lloyd and Paps all showed great leadership last week too. It'd be interesting to see which guys rise to that occasion with so few leaders out there

Please let me help you design the pose.

The Melbourne method of avoiding wins to get high draft picks is a dangerous plan.. They did nothing with Jack Watts and developed a losers mentality in the process.. The bloods culture of trying to win every game and aiming to play finals every year seems to be the way to go.
Of they will try to win.
It's just me thinking that way this time around.
I've developed a loser's mentality & have started to bag players as well because I've been :huh:on here too long.

Back is often something to do with the state of a players core muscles. Funny though because Hewitt has the reputation as having the strongest core at the club.
and I forgot to add Stoddart to Hewett, McInerny (but not listed as injured?) and Ronke !!!

Not really, I have always had a pretty good core strength (Needed for the sport I specialise in) but have had multiple fractures to vertebrae in my back.

The physio found the reoccurring issues were being partly caused by tight hamstrings from over developed quads.

Back injuries can be caused by multiple different factors.

And not all back issues are the same. Disc herniation is very different from stress fractures. And most disc herniations wouldn't require surgery. The common factor would be the abnormal stresses that AFL puts on players' bodies. I've long thought that the abnormal training stresses on young players' bodies, when they are still growing, puts them at risk of many musculoskeletal injuries.

Saints are looking great at the moment and realistically we should lose handily. Results this year don't matter though, pressure off - just want to see a good game style and the kids stepping up.

On a side note, why is every game of ours on at these ordinary times? Can we get a normal starting time one of these weeks?

There is no way Rampe can play after hand surgery this week. It's one thing for a forward to play with a glove, but a back needs to be able to spoil. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see him for a couple of weeks.
He is amazing though. without him we are stuffed

Thanks to a couple of scumbag teenage girls, covid is back in QLD & for the Swans, there'll be no more commuting between Sydney and Brisbane.

We're getting more and more snookered. I'd hate to be the AFL scheduler.

The rest of the season has to be out West now. Including the GF. Might load up on the Eagles for the flag.
