Have you actually thought about this?
I run a rough dummies guide as to why this doesnt make sense.
employer pays ;
cash in hand $15/hr 40 hr week $600 is $31,200 per year.

Casual rate $20/hr x 40 hours is $800 plus super $80, plus Work cover $24 is $904 per week. is $47,008. No payroll tax because most of these employers have a wages of under 1 million.

So the employer is going to miss out on $31,200 of expenses against his gross revenue to save $16000 in wages.
Makes zero sense.
wheres all the cash come from? his own pocket?
what if the employer is taking some of their revenue in cash? Understating their takings, but maxing expenses to minimise business tax?

What if they want to avoid paying employees tax, leave entitlements, super contributions - they add up.

Even the ATO reckons the cash economy is costing national revenue around 3 billion a year (2015/16)

I am impressed by your unflappable confidence in the good work of the Australian Tax Office, but clearly some businesses and workers are operating outside of the system. Or only partially working with the system, to their own benefit.

anyone who identifies themselves as a sovreign citizen should immediately be treated as hostile.
Even better, make them all go and live together at Sovereign Hill.

A couple of weeks of dealing with busloads of school kids getting all sh*tty because they didn't strike it rich when panning for gold and getting 'wanted' posters made up in names like Hugh Jars, Ivor Biggun etc. will have them begging to be subject to the same laws as the rest of society.

And some are sighting NT Supreme Court decisions as precedent...

Hilarious.

Stating that they do not wish to enter into a contract with police, believing them to be a corporate entity.

They’re ******* delusional.

No we don't. It's like this. There a plethora of fu**wits out there. Fu**wits are gonna fu**wit. Why these bozos were permitted to leave their houses to undertake "exercise" in the first place is on those who make the rules. :stern look

Police should go to their house every night for the next week. If they're out, leave the $5k fine on the doorstep
