Don't disagree overly although if Ballenden had the majority of ruck responsibility I'd be backing the Dogs.

Might also be a good game to debut Coleman if the coaches think he's tracking well.
By managing Oscar this week he goes in fresh against Goldstein the following week.
Then we are left with Ballenden, Smith & possibly Eagles to choose from.
Smith would possibly do okay but he has been given a few chances.
Dogs defiantly favorites if we choose to manage the 5 i mentioned
Lester now available so he could come into team.

The more i think about it, if Oscar is managed Fagan will play who he believes is the next number 1 ruck at the Club.
The pecking order is Martin - Oscar - Smith - Ballenden. After that we don't know

I noted the Cats have managed 5 of their best 22 v North for tonight's game
North have managed 3 but they are not in Norths best 22 yet

Coleman likely to come in when side more settled i think

Only 1 day to find out how Fagan will approach the next game.

Smith is out for weeks still.

I've been saying this all year but had given up hope of him ever being picked.

Seems inevitable now to me. Will be carrying a bit of a load though , plenty ready to dump on him if he doesn't measure up 1st up.

Still won't believe they'll play him till I see it.

You’ll get your wish

Got no time for CEY. What few possies he gets, it is 50/50 he will get caught, or butcher it. Would rather see Dev or Ely get a crack. Would rather play Lester in his role.

Stay fat with Skinner. He has a big future.

CEY I keep in. He was not alone last week having a bad game. See a lot of upside in him

Said a few times not sure you can play the newbie talls Skinner. Payne and Ballenden together.
They need games although not together.
So do you drop one or two then even though I have Eagles above them all
Long term you robbing a game you could blood them with Smith/Martin out.
Depends on Big O. If he is out you need Eagles in.. Cannot go Ballenden/Skinner against a ruck for a whole game.
Not sure with the dogs forward line I play Payne and Andrews. Depends on Lester and Darcy if they play.

Out > In
McInerney > Eagles
Ballenden > McStay
Rayner > Cox
Robinson > Coleman
? Anyone tired > Matheson

Give Birchall, Lester, Rich another game off So they are fresh vs North.

Seeing almost every other club (baring Richmond who had 6 days) rotating 3 to 4 players this week shows we missed a trick. Its great to get some fresh players back this week but just wish we were smarter last game
It’s even more astounding days on that we could’ve got it so wrong to the point that it feels like blind ignorance as to why we didn’t rest anyone aside from Birchall.

Don’t want to see Ballenden running around in the seniors ever again. No second efforts and softer than CEY.
