Can't see it myself either given he is in front of him, and if anything his studs should have raked the front of his shin, and not the back. Even watching the replay cannot see where the contact is. Really puzzling tbh. Maybe his calf just burst at the seams due to pressure...Yikes. Those are long studs. Can relate. I've been stepped on in the bottom of rucks for years playing rugby and these can be very dangerous.
I will say though that the action when Quaynor got hurt is a way I've never seen anyone get hurt by with those kind of studs. And of course Wicks had no intent to do anything bad so there is a freak accident element to it imo. TBH I'm still puzzled as to how those studs actually did that kind of damage in that tackle...but those studs can be very damaging.

Wasn’t questioning Sinclair’s effort but he looks like an old manAliir needs to put in , his effort is awful , maybe he is injured, but seems to pick and choose when to play
Sinclair yeah you are right but At least he has a crack
Say what you like about Sinkers as a first string ruck, but few have earned their salary like he has the last few years.Aliir needs to go back to HB

Lost a lot of confidence in his ability to handle the ball. Which is unsurprising given how shite he's been at it.Aliir needs to put in , his effort is awful , maybe he is injured, but seems to pick and choose when to play

Really needs a rock solid big KPD to work off IMO. If Brand is it I hope he gets back soon. If he's not we need to do some shopping in the offseason.
was I giving him s**t or bagging him was I?Say what you like about Sinkers as a first string ruck, but few have earned their salary like he has the last few years.
He's copped an absolute battering for the club. Full respect as a Swans player.
Hope he goes ok post career with his body.
I thought Sinkers did pretty well against the competition's best ruckman. More importantly, he's the best ruckman we have right now, and by a long way.Aliir needs to go back to HB

Wasn't implying you were. Apologies if it seemed so.was I giving him sh*t or bagging him was I?

Melican's not quick but he's not there for pace. It seems.
The one thing that really pissed me off was the one-sided commentary. Seriously Fox, most of the people watching that game didn't give a flying f&^k about Collingwood, Nathan fu**ley or some plonker young Pie's toothless hag of a mother mouthing off like a complete bogan on a video call. Why can't Fox commentators at least acknowledge the non-Victorian team ? I'm tired of this Victorian bullshit. It's supposed to be a national competition
Was recorded as fastest Swan last night equal with Rampe (and equal second on the ground).
Is slow of mind though, and a slow turning circle, but doesn’t seem to be a slouch in a straight line.
Fair enough, but I think the AFL should ask why that stretcher took an eon to leave the ground. Collingwood were clearly milking it for time. We lost our momentum and their players got the long rest they so desperately needed. Sure, if a player has a spinal injury care should be first and foremost, but it was clearly not the case. As usual the AFL investigates with alacrity the slightest whiff of impropiety within the Sydney Swans but acts in a somewhat anodontic manner when it comes to a powerful Victorian club.GRAPHIC: Swans avoid sanction despite illegal boot admission in horror Pies incident
