Onboard from VET at the end of the race and cool down lap. Few take aways:

1. His pit engineer couldn't even get his finishing position correct because....Ferrari
2. The fact he sits in silence while hovering over the radio button for nearly a minute just speaks louder than words.
3. "Radio Check" to force a response from VET

Never able to celebrate a toxic work environment.
Which is pretty much what we are seeing here.

Yep, it's pretty sad seeing a driver who has so much passion for Ferrari being reduced to this. Can't wait for him to get a new seat, I think he will have a massive spring in his step.

An intelligent one.
What about a team chasing a non support driver ?
Red Bull have Verstappen
Ferrari have Leclerc
Renault have Alonso
McLaren have Ricciardo
Racing Point potentially have Vettel

So if Bottas was to go to a team as a "number one" driver, it would probably be at one of the lower end teams

Surely that makes their cars illegal for this weekend's GP too? Or have they been working on an original brake duct design in the mean time?

EDIT: It appears not. Conclusion 13 and 14 state that it was only a breech of the Sporting Regs and not the Technical Regs, and therefore the car is legal.

Basically its just a slap on the wrist

I suppose I answered the question as a hypothetical instead of the real life scenario.

Marco will like this, roll on Red Bull B team...
Yeah they just interviewed Horner after P1 and asked for his comments on it. He made some very good points, they are going to review the decision because if it turns out that they are allowed to copy a car then in his words "why wouldn't we do that with Alpha Tauri?"

His opinion was its a pretty fundamental decision that F1 needs to make right now, do they keep it all above board, allow customer cars, which then means those teams are not constructors and are not entitled to revenue etc which in turn means they need to revisit the concorde agreement, or do they ban it outright.

EDIT: talk around that Renault are actually going to appeal against the decision as they feel the penalty is not harsh enough.

VET with engine failure in FP2. Don't think engines are supposed to make that noise...
