Or we could be a bit more creative and try some new things.

Turn Tuesday into selection day. It may engender some further interest into the actual teams. Make the skippers think a bit more about it and allow the posters to have a bit of banter around the teams and changes. Then post the match thread Tuesday night or Wednesday.

Over the past few seasons this has continued to creep in the wrong direction and it is time to restructure the SFA week. We need to push the posting of the match threads to Wednesday. Putting them up on a Monday just turns it into a very long winded exercise. It means we have 7 days of match thread "banter" and it is far too much to fill.

I vote no. Having the entire week encourages a wider range of participation as some people aren't available on certain days, and the match threads going up is something to look forward to on Monday (the worst day of the week for many). Having a shorter match thread is fine, but make it Sunday to Thursday or something (mix it up each week so every day of the week isn't excluded). Besides Sunday to Thursday wouldn't clash as much with the footy/weekend. Personally I'd prefer keeping the status quo (of week long match threads) or having multiple teams in a thread (like Tittybong)

Threads used to go up on Mondays until I changed it to Tuesdays when admin. They've been progressively sneaking back to Monday nights. It should be Tuesday, certainly not Wednesday. You won't see less posting, you'll just see stupider posting from the stat whores.

I suggested this earlier if it’s shorter threads that are sought after rather than banishing Monday /Tuesday
A game posted on a Thursday is less likely to clash with the footy than a Sunday afternoon one
