Great points Mr Zombie.

I think the "natural position" thing is a bit of a furphy. The majority of kids in the draft are "natural midfielders". Given you can't start 18 blokes in the centre square, some need to learn other positions.

Shattered at his injury but been one of our best across the last 2 weeks. Get the shoulder right and hopefully he's fit and firing come Round 1 next year.

I've seen enough to decide that he's more than capable at the AFL level.

Does anyone remember my Peter from North Clyde story?
The guy involved in the Stingrays who saw his entire junior development?
Keep the faith, this guy just needs self belief, and will be a weapon

Looked like a torn pec almost.

I'd say he's going to have a decent stint, looked like a bad injury.

Big, strong, explosive speed, massive leap, clean hands, great skills, good in traffic. Its no understatement that all Bon is lacking is some self-belief. People forget that he missed a lot of footy through his junior years, was always going to take more time to develop than most.

This boy gets injured way too easily. What have we been doing with his conditioning? It seems that our medical strategy is not very on top of the players. We are not keeping the important players on the park long enough for them to develop the skills. The players skills are good enough but they need to play extended period of time to develop their confidence. Confidence and longevity multiplies to get improvement and can be bigger than their sum.

Conditioning is supposed to prevent a tackle shoulder injury?

Wat...

But surely the conditioning staff should have reinforced his shoulder with adamantium.

Short sighted and not in a comic book. This failure sits with the club.

Funnily enough, the answer is......YES.

How you fall, how you sprint, jump, tackle, bump and run are all part of conditioning. It took like 8 years to condition Pat Cummins. Bonar has got 12 months to get his constiution to AFL standards or more precisely, the club. If the conditioning is not adequate, he will get injured by the little things and will forever be in and out of the side never staying long enough to settle and will probably be delisted in a few years time.

Yeah that makes no sense whatsoever...

And this is North we are talking about. We keep players on the list for years that are rarely fit to play.

Yeah, and your conditioning obviously determines the way that another player tackles you, doesn't it
