Luko is so far ahead of Rankine in terms of a complete player. Does the basics right but also always makes great decisions and has an elite kick.
Playing a much, much easier role. Really struggled when he has played forward compared to how he has fared down back.

Lukosius is going great don't get me wrong

Rankine isn't exactly being tightly checked though, Luko is certainly the more rounded player and probably always will be.

Every forward is tightly checked don't be ridiculous

Lukosius was moved back specifically because of how difficult he found it up forward and that he couldn't get into the games

Will be interesting to see if he swings forward again after he has banked some experience, confidence, more preseasons

Just looking at his heat map tonight he’s doing a bit more upfield.

Might end up a roamer.

Interesting prediction on Fox Footy tonight.

According to their premiership profile model from previous years the only sides capable of winning the flag are Geelong, Richmond or West Coast.

You could probably find a bunch of other stats that tell the opposite story

Having said that, those 3 are the only blue chip sides in the league (now Collingwood are injury depleted)

Port are gonna live and die by Charlie Dixon. Past few seasons they've had great clearance, contest and I50 numbers, but they utterly sucked at turning that into scoreboard pressure. Charlie and to a lesser extent Marshall have been clunking marks for them this year, so it's translated into more wins, but that's their Plan A to Z.

Anyone else find it odd and suspect when posters apparently support a club but refuse to post on their own team board and would prefer discussions with opposition supporters?
I doubt the main board is as "combative" as this board is at times...

Sad to see how far Caroline Wilson has fallen. Once a credible football sports journalist, now just a sad bitter "AFL Media Accredited" tabloid hack.

According to her The Premier’s (WA on the Elijah Taylor covid breach) comments reportedly angered the AFL. “He’s making them jump at every turn and really hurting their brand,” Footy Classified’s Caroline Wilson said. “They were angry at those comments"

I'm sorry Caro, but the AFL themselves, the coaches, the players, the MRP, and the Umpires are doing a plenty adequate job of hurting the brand. The WA premier is doing his job in looking after the people in his state, and just reinforcing what an unprofessional joke of an organisation the AFL is.

Just saw an article that says the indigenous flag is copyrighted by a clothing company called WAM? The company is owned by non indigenous guys as well. This just seems odd. There’s been an issue with the AFL this year over the copyright and therefore the flag won’t be used this coming round.
If the Government can compulsorily acquire Darryl Kerrigan’s house for an airport, they can do the same for the aboriginal flag.

No, the bloke who designed it still owns the copyright and is aboriginal. There are no restrictions on flying the flag. WAM entered an exclusive agreement with the copyright holder in regard to the reproduction of the flag on clothing etc.
