Seems like our injury list is for once getting better and not worse as the season concludes. Great news re Switta and Logue!

Shame about Meek though- looks like we may not be able to rest Cheeky Boi for a bit.

Switta being a test is the most pleasing thing out of that imo, he’s had a rough year with injury, great to see he isn’t far away

Would we all have been singing praises to Weber if had survived another week and delivered todays news instead?
we’d be cursing him about Meek’s calf

Logue as a possible back in, if we were closer to the finals (umpire campaigners) I'd say he's the recipe we need for success. Our backline is doing immense but having that extra height and class would be unreal.

Logue only 3 weeks away according to high performance manager Peter Bell...is there no end to his feathers

And Switta is back...he'll play against the GWS seconds this week...Lobb is ok.

Meek out for a fortnight with a calf

Meek possibly would’ve been handy the next couple of weeks with a couple of short turnarounds post the GWS game.

Always wondered why Weber does the injuries, when it’s the medicos that are responsible ? Was he the head of the off field staff? He did strength and conditioning/rehab. He’s not qualified to make diagnosis I would’ve thought?
Withers should be moved on, as it seems he has brownie points and lots of loyalty.. the Physios too are also to blame.

It was his department.

I would love to hear we are doing this with our players. At the moment we just play them until they get injured.

With our wellbeing program, we monitor all our players with their sleep, their recovery, and he hasn't red-flagged yet but then you've got the flip side of he's a first-year player and how far do we want to push him in one year?" Ratten said on Friday.

"The players we've left out have all been red-flagged. Their markers have told us they're maybe on the verge of getting injured and with the season compressed, we can't be having players missing two weeks - it could be three games of footy… we need to play it pretty smart there.

"Max hasn't hit those indicators yet but that's going to be a constant conversation, whether it's this week, next week or when the season's getting to the end."
