North Media takes a look at those in the mix for selection.

With Tristan Xerri suffering a shoulder injury against Collingwood, Majak Daw is a chance to replace him in the Roos’ forward line.

Captain Jack Ziebell has begun to train with the main group, but is still another week or two away.

Jared Polec, Jasper Pittard and Aaron Hall were left out against the Magpies, and are hoping for reselection.

Sam Durdin was omitted against the Lions after two consecutive games, and could be considered for a recall.

Joel Crocker and Flynn Perez have been building their match fitness in scratch matches, but are more likely to feature in the final weeks of the season, while Matt McGuinness is still a Category B rookie and will need to be upgraded.
no mention of mahony injury so do we assume hes in

Just get in as many games to our future players. Young and old.

Make the call on those to be delisted/traded now and plan for next year.

With the direction to run and carry out of the backline, hopefully he can kick to our advantage.

Hopefully it’s a good loss

Trust me, good losses are only achieved with the benefit 20/20 hindsight. Be assured that, if we are to lose to Gold Coast tomorrow, it will only be after us supporters have endured the most sh*tful of evenings. Losing to Gold Coast can never be a pleasant experience - ever - EVER! Be prepared to do some serious pounding of the arm of your sofa. Your television will be under threat of severe breakage.

We’ve been there before. Sometimes when we thought were half decent. Tomorrow should be a doddle.

Aaron Hall and Majak Daw return to the line-up, replacing Jack Mahony and Tristan Xerri, who suffered respective shoulder injuries against Collingwood.

Prior to being omitted in Round 12, Hall had played all 11 games in 2020, while Daw has played 3 games this season.

Sam Durdin, Joel Crocker, Matt McGuinness and Tom Campbell have been named as the emergencies.

yeah, you're right, as much interest in the emergencies as there is in the inclusions; presumably an indicator they might get a run before stumps
